In 2016, my wife, Erica, and I took a leap of faith and embarked on a journey into the cleaning business. Starting our own company was a big decision, but it all began with finding the perfect name. We wanted something that reflected our values and stood as a symbol of support for law enforcement. As we sat by the shores of Lake Erie, inspiration struck: Blue Lake. It was simple, meaningful, and a perfect fit for our vision.
My journey to this point started with a strong sense of service. In 2013, I graduated from Kent State Police Academy and began my career in law enforcement at the Fairport Harbor Police Department. This role served as a stepping stone toward achieving my goal of working for the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office. Growing up in Geauga County instilled in me a deep appreciation for the community, and it was an honor to give back to the place that shaped who I am. In 2014, I was proud to be sworn in as a Geauga County Deputy by Sheriff Dan McClelland.
